While staying in a cabin in the Italian Alps, two middle-aged friends find themselves involved in an unexpected adventure when they meet a mysterious young man.
What started as a little project that my colleague Ivan and our screenwriter Gianluca Pellegrini wanted to make after meeting at a film festival, gradually became one of our most ambitious projects yet.
After writing and re-writing the story for 2 years, we finally brought together a crew and self-produced the film with the help of a successful crowdfunding campaign and the support of the Canton of Ticino, in Switzerland.
1 week of principal photography, almost 1 year of post-production including editing, color grading and sound mixing, and we finally concluded the project in July 2024.
In March 2025, “Non ti sento” premiered at Schweizer Jugendfilmtage, the biggest film festival in Switzerland dedicated exclusively to young filmmakers.
